What is THAW?
THAW is a weekend retreat for middle and high school youth groups that challenges students and leaders to experience God’s truth through building relationships within their group, fun activities, and focused times in God’s Word.
“I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.” Ezekiel 36:26

How Do I Register My Group?
- Let Us Know You’re Coming! Register your group using the link below. This registers your group for a specific date, allows you to pre-order your tshirts if desired, request lodging, and give us a general number of how many people will be attending with you.
- Invite Your Students! Let students & parents know the date of your retreat, create a flier with extra details (use the THAW logo below!), make sure your leaders are ready to go and begin to collect consent forms (linked below).
- Confirm Your Details! One week prior to THAW, please let us know your final numbers, allergies and any other last-minute changes.
Where You Will Stay
THAW youth groups stay in our cabins or dorms. Cabins 1-4 have bathroom facilities (toilets/sinks/shower), cabins 5-7 use centrally located showers in the gym.
Adventure Activities
Basketball, volleyball, foosball, gaga ball, & carpetball tourneys; zipline &/or snow tubing (weather permitting), youth group challenge/active session; night game; pizza party; snack shop; Rock Mountain LIVE!; general sessions; youth group time (small groups); worship; & more!
THAW Media Gallery
Group discussion times were great. I was surprised at how much some kids opened up about the things in their lives connected to the message from God’s Word.
The group projects were good, too. Fun to stand back for the most part and let the kids work together to rise to the challenge!

THAW Weekend Fees
- $140/person (student or leader). One complimentary leader per group.
- THAW Shirts: $12 pre-order, $16 at the door (until sold out).
- Pre-order before December 1 (for January THAW), or February 1 (for March THAW) to guarantee sizes.
