2025 Year-end Update

Dear Rock Mountain Family,
2025 was amazing! We saw sustainable growth in all aspects of our ministry: Youth Camps & Retreats, Partnerships with Church Groups, Campground, our Ministry Support Team, and Seasonal Staff. Programs were full, we were able to connect with more churches, and we saw spiritual growth in the lives of hundreds of people through their camp experience.
God’s work is evident in this feedback from one of our church ministry partners:
“With the peaceful setting, enjoyable activities, and the warm hospitality of the staff, our camp group was able to plan and accomplish everything we had set out to do. The environment created the perfect space for fellowship, reflection, and spiritual growth. Many participants shared how much they appreciated not only the fun and rest but also the opportunity to strengthen their faith and deepen their relationship with God.”
And from a youth camp counselor:
“I saw the desire in my campers to grow in their faith, especially the teen girls. They wanted to make the most of their time at camp to live their faith more in their lives. With the junior camp girls I saw them learn how to love their enemies because they realized that Jesus loved them too, and they were all made in His image.”
Our 2025 program theme was WORTHY, based on Revelation 4:11 – “You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.” Each week we focused on the worthiness of God and our proper response to Him in worship. We also considered the truth that our worth is grounded in our salvation provided to us by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
In 2025 we got to serve 3,916 Main Camp campers and 1,536 campground guests. We hosted over 75 churches at camp. 72 seasonal staff and volunteers joined our amazing team of 8 full-time/year-round staff who work diligently to provide hospitality to all of our wonderful campers and guests. Praise the LORD for the people we were blessed to serve in 2025: He is Worthy!
This year we saw progress in many needed projects around the camp, thanks to the generous giving of our ministry support team. The new staff house was installed and occupied before a busy summer. We improved the camp experience in many ways: a replacement AED in the Main Building; a John Deere commercial zero-turn lawn mower; a new laptop for youth programs; a new hot cocoa dispenser and commercial coffee brewer in the Dining Hall; major repairs to the hydraulic system in our John Deere farm tractor; and new camp entrance/exit signs. This list is only the “tip of the paintbrush” of numerous repairs, coats of fresh paint, hours cleaning and scrubbing, precious time spent in Bible study and worship, and activities at camp that God used for His glory in 2025! Praise the LORD for providing these and every needed resource at camp: He is Worthy!
A MONTH-OF-GIVING: Please join us in thanking God for the camp experience by joining our Ministry Support Team with a generous financial gift to Rock Mountain Bible Camp. Our MONTH-OF-GIVING GOAL is $30,000. We are praying for $8,000 for the Campership Fund and $22,000 for General Ministry Support. Help meet our financial goal which supplies essential ministry resources. We will use “Giving Tuesday” on December 2nd as the kick-off for a month of giving! Join Us!
2026 CAMPERSHIPS: Everyone should have a camp experience! Thanks to our generous Ministry Support Team, we granted $7,768 in camperships to 41 campers from 22 families this year. This means that 9.7% of our summer program campers received financial assistance from the RMBC campership fund in 2025. (This is almost double the need in the last 10 years!). We know of many more campers who received financial assistance directly from their churches in order to attend summer camp. We thank God for these churches, families, and our financial supporters who make the camp experience possible! Our MONTH-OF-GIVING goal is $8,000 to replenish our Campership Fund for 2026. Every gift to this fund removes financial barriers for families and covers the costs for them to participate in the youth and adventure programs at Rock Mountain.
JOIN OUR MINISTRY SUPPORT TEAM: When you GIVE to Rock Mountain, you are helping to make the camp experience at Rock Mountain possible. Thanks to the generous support of our donors, we were able to move forward on items from our 2025 MINISTRY NEEDS list mentioned earlier in this letter, and we plan to do the same in 2026. The remaining $22,000 from our Month-of-Giving goal would provide the funds to keep improving the camp experience at Rock Mountain, and offset the costs to operate our camp and campground that camp fees do not fully cover. Will you help us reach our goal to raise $22,000 for ministry support as we wrap up 2025?
Praise the LORD for the sacrificial giving of our Rock Mountain family: He is Worthy!
See you at Camp!
