REMEMBERING ROCK: JANUARY 2020

Hello 2020! As we start a new year, and a new decade, we are excited for all God will do in the year ahead through the ministry of Rock Mountain Bible Camp.

Ministries

The first three months of the year include serving 16 guest groups, 4 Winter Fun Nights, 2 THAW retreats, 7 college recruiting trips and 4+ Laser tag events! More than dates on a calendar, each one of these events is an opportunity to be faithful to what God has called us to do at Rock Mountain-providing opportunities to experience truth, community, & change through Jesus Christ. The variety of ways we get to do that are so exciting, and we are thankful God uses each of them as a unique catalyst to point students and leaders to Himself. Thanks for your part in the ministry of camp, as you pray for our staff, leaders, groups and campers this month!

Prayer Requests

• Pray for Russian Evangelical Baptist Church, Davisville Middle School, East Coast Youth Network, FBC Metuchen, and Calvary Chapel Gloucester County holding their retreats at Rock Mountain in January.
• Pray for the summer staff recruitment process: we are sharing opportunities to serve at Rock Mountain Bible Camp at various colleges and schools over the next several months. Pray for safety in travel and good conversations with students on these campuses.
• Pray for opportunities to build relationships with and disciple our seasonal staff. That during their time at camp, they would grow in their walk with the Lord, understanding of His Word, and desire to serve Him!

Praises:

• God has provided an excellent and consistent group of staff to serve with us this winter. We are thankful for their ministry, and the chance to serve them as they work at camp!
• We are excited to see so many campers already registered for Youth Camps in 2020, and praising God for the way He works during those weeks at RMBC!
• We are thankful to see some December projects come to completion, and be implemented this month: a new campground reservation system, some finishing touches on the lobby and refreshed walls are some small but exciting improvements in our ministry to guests.
